Bolaji Akinyemi & Associates is a Consulting Firm led by a former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Professor of Political Science, Professor Bolaji Akinyemi.

The Consultancy firm was established to serve two key purposes or objectives:

Be an advisory and risk analysis agent for potential Foreign Direct Investors (FDI's) in the Nigerian economy, including those looking for local partners and
To act as a Consulting firm to produce business plans and other set up documents and guides the FDI's in their set up plans.

Given the fragile yet emerging economic status of the country, any prospective investor needs to be well guided by those who know the government and who can predict with almost 100% accuracy the policy drift or direction; persons who know the environment and all the socio-economic indices associated with the environment; persons who are in touch with the people and can reach both the local and state authorities; individuals who have built an impeccable reputation for themselves in a very trying environment.

NIGERIAN, AFRICAN AND BLACK HISTORICAL SERIES: A nation without written history is a nation that has never existed. A man without written history is like a man that has not  existed. Up till now, Africa and African historical leaders still suffer non appreciation due to lack of historical records.

An Oxford Professor of History even went as far as saying that Africa has no written history before the advent of colonialism. This view which still has currency outside Africa is due primarily to the absence of written history in Africa.

Oral tradition on which African history is based simply does not command the same acceptability and respect as written documentation.

In recognition of this fact, Bolaji Akinyemi and Associates has taken the responsibility to initiate and document a serial on the history of Africa and the Black race.

Prof. Bolaji Akinyemi is a prolific writer and has authored many books and contributed his publications to many reputed and recognized local and international journals.  A synopsis of some of his publications can be read and accessed freely on this site.
